Privacy Policy

Introduction

BRO FOR PRO, IE ("we", "us", "our") operates the CatPress application for iOS and the website https://catpress.app (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect your information when you use the Services.

By using the Services you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive basic account identifiers. We do not receive your full name or email address directly for AI processing purposes.

User Content (Photos)

You may upload photographs of yourself and/or your cats as reference images for AI generation. These are full, non-anonymized image files containing visual information (including facial features if you upload photos with people).

Usage and Technical Data

We collect device information, IP address, app version, usage statistics, subscription status and interaction data.

Payment Information

Payments are processed exclusively by Apple and Google. We do not collect or store credit card or other payment details.

Important: We do not send to AI providers your name, email, user or pet IDs, or any file metadata.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and improve the AI image generation feature
  • Store and process your reference photos
  • Manage subscriptions and token usage
  • Ensure security and prevent abuse

3. AI Processing and Data Sharing

To generate images, your uploaded reference photos (full images) together with an automatically generated textual prompt are sent to:

  • fal.ai — nano-banana-2 model (full photos + prompt)
  • fal.ai — nano-banana-pro model (fallback, same data)
  • OpenAI — GPT-Image-1 model (only the textual prompt, without any photos)

We do not use your uploaded photos for training or improving any AI models (unless the third-party providers do so independently under their own policies).

We share data with the following third parties where necessary:

  • Cloudflare — secure storage of reference images in Cloudflare R2
  • fal.ai and OpenAI — AI image generation
  • Apple and Google — authentication and payment processing

All third-party providers are contractually obligated to protect the data.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Reference photos are stored securely in Cloudflare R2.

We retain your uploaded photos for one (1) month after you delete your account, after which they are permanently deleted. Other account and usage data are deleted upon account deletion, except where we are required to retain them for legal or security reasons.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.

7. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence (including countries that may have different data protection standards). We take reasonable measures to ensure adequate protection of your information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Services or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
