Frequently Asked Questions

CatPress is an iOS application that transforms your pet's photos into artistic masterpieces using generative AI. Simply upload a photo of your cat or dog, choose a preset (like "Vogue Cover," "Knight in Armor," or "Cyberpunk"), and in about a minute, you'll receive a high-quality result that preserves your pet's unique features.

Yes, registration is required. After installing the app, you can sign in using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In—it only takes a few seconds. Upon registration, you'll receive 1 free credit to try out the generation immediately without any purchase.

A standard image generation typically takes around 60 seconds. While you wait, you'll see an animated progress bar with helpful tips. If the server is particularly busy, it might take a little longer—in such cases, the process continues in the background, and you'll receive a notification once it's ready.

For the best results, it's crucial to upload a clear, well-lit photo of your pet where their face is fully visible. Avoid blurry photos, profile shots, or low-light conditions. Uploading multiple reference photos will significantly improve the accuracy and likeness of the results.

An anchor photo is the primary reference image of your pet. It is automatically used for every new generation to help the AI understand your pet's unique features. This ensures consistency: all generations for the same pet will maintain a similar look. You can change your anchor photo in the pet's profile at any time.
